BCSTA’s Provincial Council was established in 1987. It was formed to ensure that the interests of all boards are represented in the governance of BCSTA and to facilitate an ongoing dialogue around issues facing the association and its member boards across the province.

Provincial Council & Issues Forum | 8:45 am - 3:00 pm
Breakfast 7:30 - 8:30 am
* Observer expenses are not covered by BCSTA.
Policies
Hotel information:
- Provincial Councillor or designated alternate accommodation for this event is paid for by BCSTA. Guestroom and parking charges will be guaranteed and billed to BCSTA directly by the hotel.
- Observer accommodation is the responsibility of the district and will need to be settled at check-out by the attendee.
- If accommodation is requested, a confirmation email will be sent directly by the hotel the week after registration closes on Friday, September 22.
- Should delegates wish to pay incidental charges with a credit card other than their own, please email the hotel at dhr.vancouverhousing@marriott.com to request a billing link.
- Reservations must be cancelled more than 48 hours prior to arrival to avoid a one-night penalty. Please notify Sara Hunter of any late cancellations.
Event Information:
- Attendees should not attend if they are feeling unwell. Review the latest hotel procedures before attending.
- Trustees will be reimbursed for travel expenses related to these meetings as per the BCSTA expense policy. Submit expenses online.
- Detailed event agendas will be shared closer to the meeting date.
- Photos will be taken at this event and these photos may be used for BCSTA Flickr stream, publications and promotional materials.
- Some delegates are sensitive to scented products. Please abstain from using scented products and perfumes while attending this event.
- Delegates are responsible for safekeeping their personal property. BCSTA and the venue are not responsible for items belonging to delegates.
Cancellation/Refund Policy:
- You may cancel or transfer a registration to another person up until seven days prior to the event. Please login to your account to update. For any changes or cancellations after registration closing, please contact Sara Hunter.
